Pr. Abdoulaye Ba

Prof. Abdoulaye Ba is a senior physiologist and Head of the Department of Medical Biology and Functional Explorations at the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Odonto Stomatology (FMPOS) of Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar. A specialist in human physiology, he works within the Laboratory of Physiology and Functional Explorations, where he contributes to both clinical training and research in cardiopulmonary function, metabolic physiology, and neurophysiology. His scientific work spans numerous international and regional studies, particularly in gestational diabetes, vascular function, arterial stiffness, metabolic homeostasis, and biomarker discovery. His publications include research on endothelial dysfunction, insulin resistance, gestational metabolic regulation, and respiratory physiology, consistently featured in international congresses and peer-reviewed journals.
